I  was born in Connecticut, but grew up mostly in Ohio where I attended Bowling Green State University. After college I performed across the United States in musical theatre tours and regional productions. I eventually settled in South Florida where I  have appeared in dozens of shows at local professional theatres.

I branched out into cabaret and concert work when I began teaching.  I teach voice privately, coach aspiring young professionals, music direct shows for children, teach audition preparation classes, and teach drama classes for children as an adjunct at a private school.

I do occasionally make time to do a book show in the midst of my cabaret performances. But whether as a soloist or as part of an ensemble, there is something truly magical  to me about the feeling I get from singing with the right musicians by my side - painting tonal pictures together, and telling stories through song!
