I  grew up mostly in Ohio where I studied music at Bowling Green State University. After college I performed across the United States in musical theatre tours and regional productions. I eventually settled in South Florida, took my Equity card, and have appeared in dozens of shows at local professional theatres.

I branched out into cabaret and concert work when I began teaching.  I truly enjoy teaching and coaching privately, as well as in classroom, workshop or camp settings.  I also enjoy writing, and am blessed to have been a theatre critic for Talkin' Broadway and Broadway World for several years.

I would say that I am a pretty lucky guy. I get to do my cabaret work, while occasionally making time to be in a book show. I teach voice privately, coach aspiring young professionals in classes and camps, music direct shows for children, teach audition preparation classes, and teach drama classes for children as an adjunct at a private school.

But most of all - I love to sing. And there is nothing more magical  to me than the feeling I get from singing the right song with the right pianist by my side - painting a picture together with music!
